Skilled Sales Professional - Travel Industry - to £18k basic, £25-30k First Year OTE
Our client, a small but fast growing company working within the travel industry is looking for a skilled sales professional to build a travel desk within their organisation.
Ideally applicants should come from a travel sales, account management or recruitment background - i.e. a background of a consultative sell and not and order taker!
Working around 'normal' office hours, the successful applicant will take inbound enquiries from potential customers interested in booking luxury/high value holidays to include multi destination and complex trips, with a view to assessing their needs and expectations, and working with this customer all the way through the sales cycle including chasing up on previous enquiries and actually making the sale.
Our client is looking for someone who can join the company and build a long term career, and so is looking for this to be reflected in their employment history to date - hence, NO JOB HOPPERS!!!
This will offer a fantastic opportunity to join this boutique travel specialist who are backed by a large high street name. Basic salary will depend on experience but is negotiable up to £18,000, and first year earning potential is around the £26 - £30,000 mark.
