An excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Despatch Manager to join one of the market leaders in the food industry.
THE DESPATCH MANAGER - Night Shift
The job directly manages a team of around 10-30 people and reports to a day shift based Manager. This is a Night Shift position and will be on 4 on 4 off (6pm - 6am). Key activities of the role will include:
·Leading, motivating and developing a team that will correctly administer and reconcile all incoming goods into Despatch, control, allocate and pick stock as per customer requirements and correctly load and administer all departing vehicles in a safe manner whilst controlling costs.
·Maintaining close liaison with key interfaces including
·Scheduling, Manufacturing, Distribution, Ceva, Customer Services, Maintenance, 3rd Party suppliers and sister sites.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Will need to have a similar background in a Despatch Manager role within the food industry and be comfortable working nights. Other key attributes will include:
·Graduate/Graduate calibre preferably with a CPC and/or an additional professional qualification
·Team Player with good leadership skills
·Results Focussed with drive, resilience and energy
·Customer Focused
·Ability to make and take decisions in fast paced environment
·Strong Communication Skills
