MOTOR CLAIMS TEAM LEADER (TEAM OF 10) WITH PERSONAL INJURY (PI) KNOWLEDGE - MANCHESTER - UP TO £30k BONUS BENS

We are currently recruiting for one of the UK's leading Insurance companies. This opportunity will be based out of the Manchester office and will offer plenty of career progression and ongoing personal development.

Motor Claims Team Leader:

The job requires a consistent approach to Personal Injury and Third Party Damage issues in accordance with the company's processes and procedures. Third Party injuries currently account for approximately one-third of the overall claims spend. It is the area of highest claims inflation and the cases will therefore require a high degree of management and control.

It is essential that applicants have an extensive knowledge of general motor claims handling, including Personal Injury file handling, ideally within the insurance industry.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

A demonstrable understanding of the RTA/MIB and legislation relevant to road traffic accidents and injury claims.

Management experience - ideally based around teams of 10 in size.

Financial Services Authority (FSA) and Regulatory Compliance.

Knowledge of Claims processes and systems.

Awareness of Fraud/Large Loss indicators.
